Startup Podcast – Why We Listen

This episode will be a little different from what we normally do here at intrepidNow.  For background, Todd and I are HUGE fans of the Podcast Startup by Alex Blumberg. On episode #10 “Burnout” of Startup, Alex made a passing comment that anyone that listened to Startup surely was aware of the recent smash podcast hit Serial.  Immediately, 100’s of his listeners started tweeting that they had never heard of startup. This caused Alex to admit that he really didn’t know as much as he thought he did about who his listeners were and this led to episode #11 “Know Your Customer” and a request by Alex for his listeners to complete this survey.  Here are the results of the survey.

After listening to Episode #11, Todd and I were inspired to record our conversation about why we listen to Startup and why it is important to us in terms of the similarities in timing of our startup, intrepidNow.  We wanted to do this publicly so our audience would get insights on our thought process in building intrepidNow.  Alex, if you happen to check this out, thank you for Startup and we hope this helps you in some small way.
