Change is the new normal

You will recall I wrote about reinvention (link) a little while back.

Well, you are about to begin to understand what I was talking about. I’ve been in business for twenty-two years now. I’ve done a lot of things right, and I’ve done a lot of things wrong.

And you’ve been reading me long enough to know that I’ve been building a “media company” and integrating various forms of media into my sales and marketing efforts, and that of my clients and show sponsors.

Well, that isn’t changing. But I will soon be unveiling the next big thing for me, the next big evolution of what I am learning, what I am doing, and what I am building.

I will be taking my podcasting to a new level, striving to push the envelope any way I can. But as my media platform evolves, I will also be incorporating more video, guest contributors, and things such as photo essays into what we are building.

So, the simple purpose of this posting is simply to give you heads up that things are evolving with what I am doing, and how I am executing. Yes, the look and feel of my web presence will be changing (what you are seeing right now is VERY temporary).

[Professionals and mature adults are currently working through a professional construction of Intrepid’s future digital look.]

Bigger changes are still ahead, and formal and proper announcements will come in due time. And I recognize that not all of you will follow along. And no worries, it won’t bother me if you want to move on.

Change is hard. Change isn’t easy. But in a recent conversation with my friend Tony Vengrove (link), I am learning that constant change is the new normal.

So, what I am about to do won’t be for everyone. And that’s cool. Everyone changes at their own pace.

Our time together has been largely focused on business and living the intrepid life. With a little sales and marketing thrown in for good measure.

But let me inform you, the new Intrepid media platform will be talking about a quite diverse collection of content including business, healthcare, and lifestyle (for certain), but we will also talk about sports, politics, photography, innovation (more from Tony Vengrove), wellness, personal development, leadership development, IntrepidU, entertainment, to name just a few.

Stay tuned for big changes ahead. I appreciate your patience as we move through these exciting times. And I look forward to sharing what comes next.
