Celinda Appleby - Life at OracleCelinda Appleby, Head of Global Recruitment Branding, joined Rayanne on HR Latte to talk about what they have going on at Oracle in Employer Branding. Celinda joined Oracle in January of 2015 – she has had a whirlwind first year at Oracle.

“Calling my first year crazy is an understatement – interviewing, hiring onboarding, making changes. I’m a fixer – I decided to build my own internal recruitment marketing / branding agency. Celinda talks about the faxing of blind resumes many years ago and the evolution of employer branding. The tools, including social media, are here to stay and we need to use them. Oracle is engaged in full marketing when it comes to recruitment branding – Celinda’s department have brought the “Life at Oracle” campaign to life.

Over the last year, Celinda learned to use her network, found a couple mentors, and worked hard to become a good co-parent – each benefiting her roles at Oracle and as a single parent.

“If you are a Ferrari be a Ferrari. If you are a Toyota, don’t be a Ferrari, you have to be true to who you are. It’s about being true and that is what we have done at Oracle, you get what we show you.” – Celinda Appleby
