Matt Miller: The path forward will not be lit with green lights

On A New Business Mindset, we were recently joined by Matt Miller. You can learn more about Matt here!

Matt MillerThree key takeaways from Matt’s interview:

1. We need to develop goals, and support them with discipline and determination, balanced by flexibility and patience;

2. If we don’t take action we’ll never get anywhere. We must develop the self-confidence and courage to take the first step, and then the second…;

3. If we are to live our lives to the full we must allow ourselves to dream big and to think big. We must allow ourselves to have a mindset shift.

Matt’s episode first appeared on Gareth Young’s A New Business Mindset, which is produced by Todd Schnick and intrepidNOW.

About Matt Miller:

Matt Miller, founder of School Spirit Vending, spent the first 9 years of his career as an Air Force pilot before entering the corporate world to work for Abbott Laboratories and then Valassis. Despite being a top performer for both companies, he had a long-term desire to start his own business and be his own boss. As fate would have it, a random conversation with a friend about the gum ball machines his family owned sparked an intrigue for Matt and planted the seeds for what would eventually become School Spirit Vending.
